The Google Earth Map (KML) script works by passing the student ID from PowerSchool to a script running on a Linux, Apache2, MySQL, PHP(LAMP) server.
The script then queries the PowerSchool database server for information on the selected students.
This information includes:
If the geocode is available then the KML file will contain that as the point location for Google Earth. If the geocode is not available, then the student's address will be used and Google Earth will try to geocode that address.
