PowerSchool 6.2 New Features and PowerSchool Reports and Functions for Administrators
This session will concentrate on new of PowerSchool 6.2 introduced May 2010. Discussion will include strategies implementing standardized reporting, use of the new mobile admin pages and helping parents use the new single Log-In. Standards reporting will be available for all grade levels with elementary grades receiving initial emphasis. The new mobile pages will assist administrators while they are out of the office with easy access to the most used parts of PowerSchool. The mobile feature is available for most smart phones, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Palm etc.
This session also includes an overview of PowerSchool administrative reports and functions including native PowerSchool and Washington County School District Additions. Reports designed for General Information, Scheduling, Transcripts, State Reporting and Specific Program Groups will be illustrated. Presenters will demonstrate methods for finding students and identifying reports suitable for making data based decisions. Ideas and questions concerning future development will besolicited in the session.
