The PowerSchool database stopped responding to requests at 8:57 this morning. We believe the problem was caused by a low virtual memory setting. The setting has been corrected and the issue should not reoccur.
We try to get PowerSchool back on line as soon as possible without compromising data. A complete system restart can take more than ten minutes if no data is compromised. To restore from a backup will add 30 or more minutes.
In the future we will try and post a note to this page within ten minutes of identifying a problem. The note will include an estimated down time. If nothing is posted and you have been down for 15 minutes or more please call. Repeated calls take time that we need to diagnose and resolve problems.
